mDOC H1 (formerly DiskOnChip H1) takes on-board memory to new levels that meet the memory-hungry demands of today’s portable devices. mDOC H1 offers a no-compromise flash storage solution - packing major technology highlights into a single small package. Implementing single-level cell (SLC) and multi-level cell (MLC) NAND flash technology, mDOC H1 boosts performance and reliability to the industry’s highest levels with msystems" x2 technology.

mDOC H1 is optimized with msystems" TrueFFS flash management to guarantee unsurpassed data reliability and extend the flash lifespan. A standard NOR-like interface means mDOC H1 integration is smooth and easy - no matter which operating system is in place.

eXecute In Place (XIP) Functionality for Easy Boot
Unique eXecute In Place (XIP) functionality goes to work during system initialization, enabling the flash to boot from NAND - without the need for a separate boot device.

Unprecedented Data Integrity
msystems" proprietary TrueFFS and x2 technology represent a proven combination of patented, high-performance flash management algorithms and robust, on-the-fly error detection.

Smaller Footprint, Higher Capacity
Through use of MLC NAND flash, mDOC H1 stores twice the amount of data per cell compared to standard single level cell (SLC) technology, while maintaining high data reliability. This unique implementation goes a long way for consumer electronics, including MP3 players, GPS devices, portable media players (PMPs), portable printers, high-end printers, automotive systems and handsets.

Low Power Consumption
Using a unique Deep Power-Down mode, mDOC H1 extends battery life to provide an essential advantage for portable devices.

SureFS for Power Failure Immunity
mDOC H1 can optionally include SureFS, a unique file system immune to power failure. This feature is tailored for portable devices and especially suited for today"s multimedia requirements.

Support for Embedded Operating Systems
mDOC H1 supports Windows CE, Linux, VxWorks, Integrity, QNX, Palm, Nucleus, and other leading operating systems.
